This Story Gave Us Goosebumps

What’s a Goosebump Moment?

Some people call them success stories. We call them “goosebump moments.” It’s not just a job well done, it’s going that extra step. It’s being of service and creating a moment of human connection.

When you reunite them with something they feared was forever lost, sometimes both you and your client get goosebumps. Why? We think it’s because they’re given a level of care that shows just how much you understand.

Recently Gennavie Brixey, a FRSTeam project manager in Spokane, WA, shared some of her recent goosebump moments. Thank you, Gennavie and team. This is why we do the work.

Saving Vintage Photos & Family Heirlooms

Gina Emory was moved that we removed soot and smoke odor from her family’s vintage photos.

A New Home for Old Treasures

The sentimental jewelry box was unfortunately damaged beyond repair. We restored the jewelry and bought the client a brand new box for her jewelry. When we presented the restored pieces nicely organized in a new jewelry box, she was overwhelmed with joy.

“These goosebumps are one of the biggest reasons why I love my job and what I do. It’s even more rewarding to know I’ve restored something so important to a person who thought their most sentimental items were destroyed.”

Golfing for Good: Supporting Burn Survivors

Great Lakes Burn Camp for Kids is a special place for kids ages 6-17 to heal as they meet and support other burn survivors. Kids share their stories and bond with other kids in a comfortable, relaxed environment.

FRSTeam was honored to support this kids camp. We used our annual golf outing to raise money (over $10,000!) and promote awareness for this worthy and beloved group.
