Warm Welcome to Our Newest Franchisee!
Where: FRSTeam of Oklahoma / NW Arkansas
Who: Preston Olmstead
We recently had the opportunity to catch up with Preston Olmsead, owner and manager of FRSTeam of Oklahoma/NW Arkansas. See why FRSTeam will be his legacy and how he’s making a positive impact on his employees, clients, and customer lives.
-
You’re a new owner, but you’re not new to FRSTeam. Tell us about your history:
“I’ve wanted to own a FRSTeam since I was first hired in 2017. Jeff Waters, my predecessor, hired and trained me with the intention of selling FRSTeam of Oklahoma/NW Arkansas to me. He mentored me over the last 7 years and his wisdom has prepared me to succeed in this new role of ownership.”
-
How does opening a FRSTeam franchise align with your beliefs/goals?
“I believe it’s important to help others in need and to treat my employees well. I’ve seen firsthand how amazing the FRSTeam community is. The leadership and corporate team truly want you to succeed. Every time I have been to a meeting, it is like a big family reunion. The culture is special, and I am blessed to be a part of it. Success is contagious!”
-
What excites you about being a FRSTeam franchisee?
“I’m most excited for the opportunity for growth. FRSTeam is an industry leader in innovation and growth. We are always striving to learn and do more with our market share in the restoration industry.”
-
What inspired you to enter the restoration business?
“Every day is an opportunity to help people. I’ve been with people in their destroyed homes, and they have no clue what to do. We, FRSTeam, come beside them and help restore their belongings. Then we stand with them months later, in a freshly restored home and deliver their contents. This transition from witnessing someone’s worst day to then helping them start anew, gives me great joy. It gives me an ongoing passion for continuing in this field.”
Welcome aboard, Preston! We’re glad to have you with us.
Preston and his wife, Rachel, along with their three kids: Laken (4), Paisley (2), and Rigley (6 weeks).

Tips for the Month of Love and Friendship
Valentines’ can mean lots of candles and chocolates. Keep the spirit of love alive, without worrying about stains or messes. If you choose to celebrate this heart-shaped holiday during the month of February, we hope it’s memorable for all the right reasons!
-
Avoiding Fire Hazards:
Romantic dinners often involve burning candles, which can pose a fire hazard. As you’re looking into each others’ eyes, keep candles away from flammable materials. Consider using flameless LED candles as a safer alternative.
-
Cleaning Up Candle Wax:
If wax drips onto your clothing, don’t start scraping it off. Instead, let the wax harden completely first. Place a brown paper bag or paper towel over the wax stain and use a warm iron to melt and absorb the wax.
-
Removing Chocolate Stains:
It tastes delicious, but nothing is more embarrassing than a chocolate stain on your pants. Scrape off any excess then rinse the stain with cold water from the back to prevent it from setting. Apply a stain remover or liquid laundry detergent, gently rub the fabric together, and then wash as usual.
