Behind the scenes of every FRSTeam success story, you’ll find a team of trainers and support staff. I’m honored to work with and oversee these talented and hardworking people, all dedicated to the success of the franchisees we serve every day.
I’m also the link between FRSTeam corporate and our franchise community. I nurture relationships with the franchise owners, giving advice and coaching to help owners increase profit margins, efficiency, and overall satisfaction.
When you build relationships off a foundation of trust, you can make a real difference. I spend time understanding the owner’s goals and pain points. I understand their individual leadership styles, and I even have the honor of getting to know their families and their teams.
Since 2008, I’ve experienced every level of FRSTeam, from office manager and sales rep to on-the-ground assistance and training during catastrophes. I’ve been a general manager and run a four market franchise overseeing 10 states in the Northeast. I’m grateful for this hands-on experience on the franchisee side of the business. I then moved to our company owned headquarters as the General Manager in Northern California. From there, I spent 5 years as a national trainer. I continually take insights from each of these opportunities into my corporate role as Director of Franchise Operations.
I love being part of FRSTeam. From our corporate team to the franchise community, since 2008, I’ve had the pleasure of working with talented, honest, service-focused people. I’m especially proud of my team of trainers and support people. I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to stand beside me as we serve our franchise community.

I helped found FRSTeam with a simple belief: when disaster strikes, restoring what matters most to families should be handled with expertise, care, and integrity.
My journey in restoration began in 1995 working as a technician in textile restoration. Over the years I worked my way through operations, sales, and leadership before helping to launch the FRSTeam national franchise network in 2006.
Today FRSTeam supports franchise owners across North America providing textile, electronics, and full contents restoration services for the insurance and property restoration industries. After serving as Brand President for 6 years, I transitioned into a new role focused on what I love most — helping entrepreneurs build successful businesses. As Director of Franchise Development, I work with prospective owners, franchise consultants, and industry partners to expand the FRSTeam network into new markets.

Kristin Johnston
Director of National Sales
As the Director of National Sales, my primary goal is to drive sales growth and ensure that you, our valued franchisees, feel supported at every turn.
I’ve spent 18 years in the industry and I’ve seen it all. I appreciate how FRSTeam’s culture fosters a positive environment. We recognize achievements and encourage ongoing growth. I enjoy this focus on continuous improvement and collaborate with other departments to keep everyone aligned and informed. However, the most important aspect of my role is leading, mentoring, and challenging my sales team to perform at their best every day.
I’m dedicated to ensuring my team has the tools and support they need to succeed, and I will go to the ends of the earth to make that happen.
When I'm not working, I spend most of my time with my husband and our two boys. As huge sports fans (Go Yankees), we spend our weekends on either baseball fields or basketball courts, embracing the chaos of our busy schedule. When I'm not cheering for our boys, you can find me running on the Colorado trails, escaping to the mountains or cooking a good meal at home!
